Rita L. Winton joined Grossmont Schools Federal Credit Union in December 2003 as the Vice President of Lending. She brings with her over 30 years of experience in the Credit Union Industry. Her current span of responsibilities include lending, operations & marketing. Her primary focus is to improve the lives of our member-owners through the delivery of financial products and services that meet their on-going needs, while upholding the highest level of member service and satisfaction.

Rita has received extensive training in numerous areas of Credit Union Operations. She graduated with honors from Western CUNA Management School in 1989. Rita serves on the Board of Governors of the San Diego / Imperial Chapter of the California Credit Union League (CCUL) and has been an active participate of the Credit Union OTL Tournament since 1982, serving as co-chair for the past 8 years.

Rita is a native San Diegan and currently resides in Tierrasanta. She enjoys playing golf, gardening, spending time with her family and seeking out "treasures" at Saturday morning garage sales.
